The Idea
Volvo Cars Heritage is a series celebrating Volvo Cars’ history. Where past meets present, built on the promise of putting safety first. For this season, we focused on three iconic models. The 240, the XC90, and the P1800. Each one represents a different era, but they share the same core values. We built the films around Hans’ voice-over. Calm, direct, and personal. His narration sets the pace and gives the series its tone. Visually, we mixed three worlds. Driving footage of the cars in motion. Studio imagery with clean, controlled lighting. And archive material that connects each model to its time. The goal was to make the past feel.
